Steps your application goes though:

1. A prospective member completes and transmits an application to become a member with application fee (scan/email/mail/fax ect..) .

2. The secretary accept the membership application, reviews, and investigates the application (which may include: contacting references, Sex Offender Search, Criminal Record search)

3. The Secretary reports results to board.

4. During regular meeting the board approves or denies the member applications.

Why:

1. As a member you gain unrestricted access to our facilities, equipment, and property. You will likely also gain access to other members equipment, and property.We need to be certain that we attract honest, law abiding members.

2. We aim to gain the trust of the community, for the betterment of the community, we can only do this if our structure from member to director upholds the highest ethical principals, though a natural honesty and benevolent intent.

3. Members from time to time, may work with a public of varying age (including minors), by offering demos, workshops, and or projects. We want the public to have the highest level of confidence that our organization is both safe and free from misconduct. This is critical to maintaining a positive image for the organization

4. As Directors of Nesit Inc, We are obligated to act in a manner which will bear the closest public scrutiny. As such we are directly responsible for due diligence and policing our organization.
